Salem Repertory Theatre will be holding season auditions on September 15th from 11am to 3pm at the theatre (Cyrus Reed Ballroom, 2nd floor of the Reed Opera House in downtown Salem on the corner of Court and Liberty). All roles are PAID (Equity and Non-Equity contracts are available). We'd like to see your best 2-minute monologue and we'll hold callbacks for specific parts later in the month. Rehearses Nov. for a December run:
One Male (any age) to play numerous parts, including Potter and perhaps Radio Host Announcer.
One Male (any age) to play numerous parts, including Clarence the Angel.
One Female to play Mary Bailey OR numerous parts.
One Male to play George Bailey
One Male or Female to play Foley Person and possibly the Radio Host Announcer.
Transformational character voices sought for all parts.

Rehearses Jan/Feb for a Feb/March run
All parts able to play late 20's to early 30's
One Plus-Sized Female to play Helen - great sense of humor and acting chops!
One Male to play Carter - The smart-ass sidekick, offensive and fun.
One Male to play Tom - Male romantic lead.
One Female to play ????? - Model-esque good looks.
Additionally SRT will be producing staged readings of To Kill a Mockingbird and Copenhagen. Readings will consist of approximately 1 week of rehearsal for 3 performances. Currently all roles are available for these readings.
