Ted deChatelet Ted has been involved with SRT from the very beginning. In addition to adapting and directing SRT’s production of A Christmas Carol, he has performed in All in the Timing, Private Lives and I Have Before Me A Remarkable Document Given To Me By A Young Lady From Rwanda. Ted has worked extensively both in New York and in Regional Theatres around the country including: Classic Stage Company, The Culture Project NYC, ACT Seattle, Milwaukee Rep, Repertory Theatre of St. Louis, Buffalo Studio Arena and the Shakespeare Festivals of Colorado, Connecticut, Georgia, Illinois and North Carolina. He has acted in several award winning independent films including Macbeth, the Comedy – winner of the Audience Award for Best Picture at the New York Film and Video Festival. Ted has done numerous commercials for radio and television and has appeared twice on Saturday Night Live. Ted holds an MFA in Acting from the University of Illinois and a BA in Theatre from Wake Forest University. He has studied with Wynn Handman in NYC and with the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London. He currently teaches acting, voice, movement, and stage combat for the professional actor training program at Western Oregon University. |
